ROM UPDATE

Friends,

I update to a new ROM.

NOW, how can I go back at the ActiveSync to the OLD phone name .

Each time when connecting the phone, the ActiveSync is writing "GUEST"

You know, all my applications are under the old name and I would like that the ActiveSync will "install" all back, instead of doing One By One.

So the rom upgrade worked and your phone retained the same 'name' as used in the previous activesyncs? Eg the previous sync name was 'barney'

Well, what I do - and this works with my Phone\PocketPC too - was to disconnect the phone\pocketpc after the sync as 'guest'.

Then from the ActiveSync menu, select partnerships and delete 'guest'. Is the old partnership name 'barney' still listed as a partnership?

Now reconnect the phone; either one of two things will happen - 'barney' will be used (if still in the list), or you get the new partnership wizard runs ...
