Any Solutions for SMT5600 Alarm Issue?

I have been searching the internet since June this year to find a solution where the calendar alerts on the SMT5600 just stop going off. I have yet to even find a consistent trigger event to make this happen.

The quick fix is to flip the time one minute forward and then one minute back. But the issue is how many alarms must I miss before knowing the alarms are stuck again? I have missed a few appointments due to this feature not working consistently.

I did find one visual way to know if the alarm function is stuck. If your home page has the appointment object on so the next appointment shows it never updates to the next appointment. It appears that this home page object and the alert function are tied together.

If anyone has found a real fix for this issue can you please post it?
