We´ve all seen pictures of the 8310 and the C500, but how big is the 8310 in comparison?

I like the specs of the 8310, but I do not like that it has grown in size.

Is it bad? or does it make up for the increase in size?

8310/SP5 107.54x46.2x17/17.5

C500 108 x 46 x 16 mm

Its the same dimensions, but in reality the 8310/SP5 is 18mm thick. So it's got 2mm thicker.

Thanks Kam...

I was just wondering if it was bad on the everyday basis - I like my relatively small C500 but I´d like a better screen and wm5. Just nut sure whether to sacrifice on the size..

To be completely honest i was dissapointed by the thickness. 2mm extra thickness is ALOT, because it adds alot of volume.

Having said that i find it feels very good in the hand, and i actually think its about the perfect ergonomic size for a phone like this.

Bottom line, i think to have WiFi and the screen (its surprisingly clear actually) its worth the 2mm increase in thickness.

Allright then.. Thanks.. Just wondering how much I will use Wifi - or whether I should go for the C600 instead. Off course I dont get the wifi then, but i get the smaller size.

Final question - I get arouund 2 days of standby on my C500.

How long do you get on the 8310?

With some light use i can get about 2.5 days.

The processor is more efficient than the older OMAP, so the battery ends up around the same.

Hmmm the C600 is even thicker than the SP5. The few points of mm width and length don't mean anything - the extra 1mm thickness mean alot. It always sounded to me that the C600 was a lower model than the SP5 so never saw the real facination with it... unless people are waiting for some nice cheap upgrade on their contract?

C600 size: 45.9 x 107.7 x 18.8 mm

Slightly
