C500 contacts

Was sent an SMS this morning which contained a phone number which I wanted to add to my contacts.

No matter what I did I could not find a way to save this number into the contacts, when I clicked insert it kept using the number of the person who sent the SMS.

Am I doing something wrong or is this yet another little gripe with the C500 :??:

Sad to say it's one of those longstanding gripes that has never been fixed :)

what i do when i get a text containing a number i want to add to my contacts is scroll down so it is highlighted, then go to call it and hang up before it connects and starts ringing.

then it is in your call register so u can easily save it to contacts.

its the only way i know except using a good old pen and paper
