Media Player Library Listing Problems

Hey people,

i have had an spvc500 for over a year now and yesterday they replaced for free it cuz my version was faulty or something. (quite lucky considering some of the other stories i have read on here).

Anyway....

The problem is that i have a number of videos and music files on my phone, that will all play in media player if i find them through media album of file viewer. but if i go into media player and open up the library it doesnt list any songs of videos under any headings.

is there a specific location i have to store them to on the storage card for them to be found?

at the minute they are located in... storage card\ and storage card\My Documents

It doesn't matter where you store them - on either phone or card and in any sub-directories. Have you updated the library though ?
