Guest smitcopleyhill Posted December 10, 2005 Report Posted December 10, 2005 Hi, i just wondered if it was possible to somehow backup/save an answer phone message as they get deleted after 7 days! Any help is much appreciated :)
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted December 11, 2005 Report Posted December 11, 2005 Only way would be to record the call but it's not something that can be done as standard.
Guest smitcopleyhill Posted December 11, 2005 Report Posted December 11, 2005 Ok, thanks for that man :)
Guest sporkguy Posted December 14, 2005 Report Posted December 14, 2005 Ok, thanks for that man :) forward the message onto someone else, then get them to pass it back - thats pretty much the only way I'm afraid.
Guest dolphinsmile Posted December 14, 2005 Report Posted December 14, 2005 (edited) There is a way but you will have to delete all the messages first but don’t worry as you can save them for another 7 days. 1: Phone your answer machine when the message is on its last day. 2: Then press number 1 as if you were going to listen to messages. 3: As each message starts to play i.e.: when Orange lady says “received today…..” Press 3 to delete the message. 4: You must delete every message. 5: After that’s done keep listening as the Orange lady will say, “Do you want review the deleted messages” yes you do, so press 1. 6: No you’ll hear them all again and can save them for another 7 days. I once kept a message for a year this way. Good luck. PS: This is for Orange customers only. Edited December 14, 2005 by dolphinsmile
