Guest davidw_2005 Posted December 11, 2005 Report Posted December 11, 2005 (edited) Im having a hard time trying to connect the SPV C500 to the internet via a pass through connection. I got it workin through the supplied USB cable but it wont work through bluetooth. Im using a usb bluetooth dongle from www.mobymemory.com and i have xp service pack 2 installed. With the bluetooth driver WIDCOMM v4.700. Basically i have installed the bluetooth dongle which works fine and transfers files no problem at all but active sync will not connect via bluetooth  Ive read through many articles on this and tried everything, both the inbound and out bound ports com 6 and 7 are enable on the phone, its paired with the computer and can connect via bluetooth serial cable. If you look at the attached image 1 you can see the serial port is enabled to com 4. i did have it as com 5 which nearly worked but my internet stopped working completely for some reason so i system restored it. Ive heard people saying you can get it through com 7, it wont let me add any more com ports though :?: Ive attached another couple of images 2 + 3 could somebody please take a look and tell me where im going wrong? Ive been through so many check boxes and menus and still cannot get this thing working :) Edited December 11, 2005 by davidw_2005

It will work for XP also, some of the dialog boxes are slightly different but you'll work it out. http://shadowork.net/download.php?soubor_id=880
