xda mini hard reset

hi ppl, just had an o2 xda mini,and wish to hard reset it to do away with the annoying o2 stuff(as you do). tha manual states that 'comm manager'+'voice command'+ a poke in the side = hard reset......hmmm...computer says No. I'm proberly doing something wrong,can someone point me in the right direction.

lo m8 i did a hard reset on my o2 mini, it took a few trys but it did hard reset in the end, i didnt turn mine off like it tells u in the book

sorted it mate...as you say..dont work unless phone is on.knew it had to be something silly,cheers :)

I tried this a few times, but a message appears "press send to restore". Where the hell is the send button, please point me in the right direction.

I've been trying to hard reset the xda mini now for like an hour but it's not working :S can anybody help?

The keypress comination is always a little hit and miss.

It's far easier to do it this way:

Start > Settings > System tab > Clear Storage
