Guest anjam Posted December 12, 2005 Report Posted December 12, 2005 Had this phone for 2 weeks now and only just started using it because i have been busy with work and waiting for my number to port over. Well finally i started playing with my tmob vario and i am disappointed. It is really buggy and slow. Turning itself off at times and taking upto 10 seconds to load my contact lists, sometimes nothing appears. Is there anything i can do? I like the concept and idea but i can not use it if it continues to do this. I bought it from a tmobile store and am wondering perhaps i may have a faulty unit. Is it possible for me to check the software version or something? Any help would be much appreciated.

Guest sean2212 Posted February 3, 2006 Report Posted February 3, 2006 Do a hard reset, and then choose the Corporate profile when it offers you the choice of Corporate, Personal or Basic (after it reloads everything). I had the same problem with the XDA being unusably slow, and it worked for me.

Edit: Doh, beaten to it by minutes... :) I'd quite advise getting SPB Pocket Plus as it makes sure that closing an app actually closes it, rather than leave it to clog memory. Which is usefull for most things, except frequently used apps, like messaging (which can take a while to load up). If you do get SPB Pocket Plus, just make sure you turn off safe mode.
