C600 unlock possible?

I've justed ordered my c600 from the OSPS people, they reckon they will have stock tonight.

Anyone tried to SIM unlock this model? I presume the C500 program will not do the trick?

Not sure with the program but www.imie-check.co.uk can SIM unlock for you.

I have just unlocked my Orange C600 using the free method.

You need to change 2 reg values to application unlock the phone and then the free sim unlock tool worked its wonders. 8)

I have though a question... maybe someone can answer it. I saw it in another topic but no one answered, so I'll give it a try.

What is the difference of appl unlock the C600 through the registry method (by changing those 2 keys) or through Orange (via that security level application, IMEI based)?

I'm asking because I've done it through registry, it seems like I can install any CAB's or applications, I could even SIM-unlock it with free application, but.... there are other applications that says the phone is application locked. For example Tiny GPS (from PSILOC). I've install it but when run it says the phone is appl locked and it cannot run???!!! Strange since I've changed those registry keys, no? Could it be there OTHER things that the registry doesn't unlock (and the Orange application does)?

I've emailed Orange for their application unlock and waiting for an answer. I'll see then if I get the same message from Tiny GPS
