Pls help mine wont turn on :(

I tried to do a ROM update last night which failed..

The unit would boot up just saying 'Serial v1.00' on screen or 'USB v1.00' if connected to USB..

It was late last night by the time this happened so i left it plugged in to the USB to charge and went to bed.

This morning the unit was off and will not switch on..

It seems to me that without a ROM on the unit it doesnt charge so the battery is flat..

If i plug it in to USB i get no response from PC or PDA :)

Though if i remove the back battery cover and connect it i get a red light on the PDA though still wont turn on and battery is not warming up...

I dont know what to do.. any ideas people?
