Agile Messenger

I have been using Agile messenger on the Wizard and although there are some formatting issues, it seemed to work ok ... for a while!

Recently, I have been getting random lock ups when using Agile - leaving me with no option but to pull the battery to force a reset.

Anyone getting the same?

I have also been using Agile on my wizard for the last month (previously the smartphone version on a C500). I downloaded it fresh from the web site it is versionAM-PPC2003-19. It works very well via GPRS and via wi-fi on my home network.

I get problems if you flip the keyboard out and cause the screen to re orientate which I think because it is not WM5 complient. Otherwise I have not noticed it locking up the machine as such. I have had lockups when using it while listening to an mp3 and also switching around apps using Battery Pack Pro so its to complex a set up to point the finger at Agile alone.

I use Agile cos Pocket msn Dont like signing in anymore :D

I havnt had any lockups from using Agile, I normaly get lockups when i check email and if i can go to the settings then memory and close Messages and all is fine again, sometimes had to use the soft re-set button to get it working :)

Any other solutions worth looking at for IM? I have tried the usual suspects (IM+ AIM and MSN for PPC), but have yet to find an Agile replacement.

I've had the same problem.

I just open the keyboard before I open agile messenger... it works that way... just don't close it till you've got something else on your screen.

I agree... used it with my C500 aswell and now with my vario.

Having had it for my Nokia 6600 previously, I tried Agile Messenger, while I didn't experience the lockup issue, that bug with the screen rotation was beyond annoying! I now use IM+, which works like a dream ;)
