spv e200 hanging on the startup screen

my spv e200 keeps hanging on the startup screen (the screen overlooking the water) and doesn't go any further, it happened yesterday when i took the battery out and when i tried turning it back on it did this.

has anyone else had this problem and how did they solve it?

*also i'm trying not to reset it :s but if i have to could someone give me details on how to do it? cheers

Welcome to MoDaCo Forum :)

You can either wait for the phone to get passed the boot screen OR sacrifice the phone contents (contacts info, programs on Storage etc will be erased) by doing a hard reset. There is no way for you to backup your contacts and other important data with phone just hanging on the boot/splash screen.

now i'm starting to get real worried now i have now gone through the first part of the hard reset process up to the screen with the three colours and it isn't getting past this, am i doing something wrong here or something? i've left it for about 3 hours a so give or take a little but still it jus stays at this screen, but then my battery ran out so obviously i'm trying this again but i think it will happen again.

i really need some help if anyone can, it will be extremely appreciated! thansk in advance

it still isn't working :).i have tried the reset and turning the phone on normally and it still frezzes at the same points. I would be more than grateful for any help or advice on this.
