New SMS Message Window Qtek 8010

Hi all,

My Qtek 8010 has started showing me a New SMS Message window while I write any kind of message (SMS, email, etc.). I dismiss the alert and continue writing but the window appears again and again. :shock:

Any clue of what can I do to avoid that alert?

Hello, This is a problem of the new roms. I have to downgrade it and the problem dissapear (but wmp10 and sending files over bluetooth also).

I'm not so sure ... I have never upgraded my ROM. In fact, I'm running with 1.2.32.11 Rom version.

Maybe I could try upgrading, but I'd like to know how to downgrade just in case. How did you manage doing that?

I though that was a problem only with new roms!

It´s vey simple to upgrade ad downgrade your device.

You need to change CID to SUPERCID with a program called "spv services" at this page. The tool in this program calls "CID tool (Alpha).

To use this tool, you should totally unlock your device with a program called sda application unlock.

It´s simple, wait a minute and I put here the programs you need.

Then, you can downgrade and upgrade to any rom you want (orange, i-mate, telefonica, qtek...)

Thx Kike, anyway I suppose you need the original rom file to be able to downgrade, isn't it?
