perhaps I should have heeded the warning "advanced users only"

I have a SP3 and just been toying with the registry.....dumb dumb dumb

I was trying to follow a key tone forum in which i could use my own wav's for keytones.

Anyhoo... it froze and i button bashed. STUPID. Now only the action button works and it usually just performs a random operation/keystroke.

Have hard/cold reset with no joy. Do you think maybe I have knackered the reg?

Also of note, have just hours earlier updated the rom .

Any help appreciated please, i would hate to go on holiday tommorrow without my SP3

If you have hard reset and you still have the problem then it won't be caused be the registry as a hard reset restores the phone to it's original state.

Have you checked for stuck buttons, damage etc..

Didi you use the correct ROM for your phone?

For example the SP3 can not use the SP3i ROM as the joystil\rocker is configured differently.

When you did a hard reset was it the the hardware method of did you just select clear storage option software option?
