Newbie needs help

i just got hold of an MDA compact running 1.01.00 on Tmobile. first instincts are to upgrade the rom.

if possible to an O2 firmware (o2 been my operator) or even better to an generic unbranded rom.

where can i obtain the latest updates.

and, ive noticed people running WM5, not where, but how. is it a simple upgrade? is it a beta of WM5?

also, recommendations for wifi cards? (im in the uk)

Don't think you will be able to get WM05 running on it. Happy to be proved wrong though!
