Guest Disco Stu Posted December 15, 2005 Report Posted December 15, 2005 Orange get a fair amount of stick on this forum, which is understandable given that they have been prominent in promoting the Windows Mobile platform we all love so much, but I'm wondering whether other operators / networks are really any better ? Maybe they're even worse... Maybe you switched to Orange after bad experiences elsewhere. Perhaps you ditched Orange and realise it wasn't so bad after all. I'm curious...
Guest dave106 Posted December 15, 2005 Report Posted December 15, 2005 (edited) I've only ever used Orange and O2 but had no problems with either of them really, the only thing is that Orange coverage isnt very good in my town yet O2 is full strength, so I'm sticking with them now. Obviously thats a - against Orange but everything else about them has been fine with me. Edited December 15, 2005 by dave106
Guest Peppermint Hippo Posted December 16, 2005 Report Posted December 16, 2005 Used all (currently use Voda for minutes, Orange for texts and T-Mob for data) I can't say i've had a major problem with any of them. Voda are my preferred network if i was pushed to choose one despite having a few arguments with them recently.
Guest Whiterat Posted December 16, 2005 Report Posted December 16, 2005 The best of the best of the best is Cyta-Voda in Cyprus :) The only other network there is called Areeba, but not many folk go with them because you cant dial 77 numbers (such as pizza hut, which as we all know is one of the most important reasons for having a mobile phone) In the UK I use orange, but am to be switching to O2 soon. Orange treat me like trash even though ive been with them for over 5 years. So why should I keep giving them my hard earned cash? I have an 02 X-Phone aka SPV e200, imates, qtek, etc, etc.
Guest Pondrew Posted December 17, 2005 Report Posted December 17, 2005 With regards T-Mobile, I've got the impression from my dealings and those of family members, they're great when things go as they should (good customer services, excellent online services, etc) but it's when there's a billing enquiry or something goes wrong that they disappoint. Just last week for example I called and asked they remove a data bundle from one of my accounts. I was told it absolutely could not come off until my next statement date. Two days later (after deliberately trying to use up some of my remaining GPRS allowance on that account) I find out it HAS been taken off with immediate effect and I'm going to be charged for my web access! It's getting T-Mobile to put right what is wrong that causes peeps to lose patience with them...
