Guest jfran Posted December 16, 2005 Report Posted December 16, 2005 Dont know if you gmail users are aware, however gmail have recently launched a mobile version of their site that allows easy customisation and a simple user intrface for use on your mobile device. Guest nicktids Posted December 19, 2005 Report Posted December 19, 2005 i get forwarded straight to it immediately if i try an get to the site using my tmobile vario. The best thing about it is you can go to the normal html version if you want as well. They don't force you to use it if its too basic for you.
Guest Posted December 19, 2005 Report Posted December 19, 2005 Really, how do you do that? Cos for me, it auto-detects a mobile device and I can't find a choice to change - but would love to go back to the HTML version. On the Jam, I found a way round it by using MultiIE as a browser, and telling it to identify the device as a normal browser.

Guest Posted December 19, 2005 Report Posted December 19, 2005 Is that something you've tried? I live in hope. I only ask, as the option I think you mean (to see other views) is in fact to see things like the "sent" folder, etc, rather than other ways of viewing your gmail. Mind you, if there's something I've missed, I'd be glad to be pointed in the right direction!!
