C550 - Diable Infrared

Hi all,

Is it possible to disable the infrared feature on the C550. Given its a smartphone running Windows, I would have hoped their is a registry setting that could be altered to disable infrared.

I know about the issues with bluetooth being very slow and generally poor on the 550, just wondering if disabling the IR would help this issue, or if anyone else knows any other way of bettering the Bluetooth connectivity on the 550.

cant remember the exact path on the smartphone, however via the settings just go to Beams and uncheck it.
