Guest HarryDJ Posted December 18, 2005 Report Posted December 18, 2005 Well, it says HTC Compact II. How come the specification is the same as MDA Compact(t-mobile)? check out this site. http://www.phones2udirect.com/Products/typ...-Compact-II.asp I'm comfused. Thank you.
Guest mcwarre Posted December 18, 2005 Report Posted December 18, 2005 The specs are the same as the HTC Magician (aka M500/Jam etc). It is either mislabled or the specs are wrong. I would put money on it being the first.. Oh yes, welcome to the site! :)
Guest Pondrew Posted December 18, 2005 Report Posted December 18, 2005 That's a very confused listing. The specs are those of the MDA Compact, the pic is of an I-Mate New Jam (128meg ram version) but there IS an MDA Compact II on T-Mobile, it's the same colour but very different specs...
Guest HarryDJ Posted December 18, 2005 Report Posted December 18, 2005 (edited) ..I just decided to give Qtek S110 a chance. with O2 Edited December 18, 2005 by HarryDJ
Guest brykins Posted December 19, 2005 Report Posted December 19, 2005 ..I just decided to give Qtek S110 a chance. with O2 Is the MDA Compact II a Qtek S110? I don't think it is. My MDA Compact had WM2003SE, 64MB ROM and 64MB RAM. The Qtek S110 is the same, but has 128MB of RAM, whereas the MDA Compact II has WM5 along with 128MB of RAM. Think it's a different animal, but not sure what it is called by other manufacturers. I have one being delivered tomorrow....

Yeah....but....no....but....although it's only 200Mhz compared to the Compact/Jam 400+Mhz, it's a different kind of processor. It's like Intel and AMD not be comparable like for like on processor speeds.....the Wizard that I have here is about 10% slower than my old 400+Mhz Compact....and that 10% isn't enough to worry me I don't think.
Guest Pondrew Posted December 21, 2005 Report Posted December 21, 2005 ...the MDA Compact II has WM5 along with 128MB of RAM.<{POST_SNAPBACK}> Small correction in that the MDA Compact II has 128MB ROM with 64MB RAM...
Guest brykins Posted December 21, 2005 Report Posted December 21, 2005 Small correction in that the MDA Compact II has 128MB ROM with 64MB RAM... Yeah....what he said ;-)
