Skype 1.2 Avaliable

Skype just released its newest version 1.2.0.89 and 1.2.0.91 for Pocket PC

This update can work on:

* Windows Mobile 5.0 or 2003 for Pocket PC

* 312 MHz processor

* WiFi, 3G or EDGE enabled

I tried 1.2.0.91 for my Dopod838 (also HTC Wizard) and it runs WELL!

I hope this will solve all the concerns regarding to Wizard's Skype capability once for all.

Just Installed the low power beta on my Vario, it seems to work but the call quality is a bit suspect, only been talking to the test woman though !

Also it crashed after install but a soft reset fixed it, and it seems to be coming through on the speakers not the earpiece, not sure if its always done this on PPC as I've never had one powerfull enough to run it with WI FI.

Are you running the normal beta or the low power ?? Edit: Doh you said you are runing 1.2.0.91 which is the low power version :oops:

I've installed the low power version on the Vario too now. I had the 1.2 beta version of skype and that came through the speakers too. Seems to work ok, but as you said, the voice is a bit dodgy! The voice on the 1.2 beta was a bit dodgy too, but to be honest I'm not expecting the world from it!
