MDA compact voice problem

hi all, i have a T mobile MDA compact running the new 1.13 rom, i have a problem that when someone calls me i cannot hear them, they can hear me but i cannot hear them, i have tried it with the handsfree and then it works but that is obviously not a good thing, i have had alot of use out of the handsfree jack as used the phone as an mp3 player in my car for along time, now i am afraid i have broken it.

i have tried hard and soft resets, they have not fixed it

anyone any suggestions

Sounds like it might be time to call the droids at T-Mobile

I dropped mine the other day, and have had this problem ever since.

Just phoned Orange CS and they offered me an immediate replacement. I won't be in tomorrow morning though, so will phone them tomrrow and they'll deliver Monday - very pleased with the service.

I'm just not so keen on the fact that replacement phones are usually refurbished models and not brand new. But hey ho.
