Hi Guys/Girls, Hate to be a pain but I Have a Problem for you to solve...

I have an Orange c550 that seems to be stuck in 'Brick mode'... i.e Wont turn on and Wont do anything!...

When i plug it in to the USB PC or Power adapter it just seems to sit there not knowing whats going on... The same as if i power it on (no response)... I'm popping down to the orange store as soon as its open but before i do i was just wondering if the geniuses of smartphones (i.e. YOU!!) have had this problem before and know whats going on? It's annoying me so much and makes you wonder how we lived without phones 5 years ago!

Any ideas would be appreciated, and I'll update when i go to the Orange store purely for the Record if anyone else gets the same problem

Cheers,

Ok, just to update, the battery had malfunctioned and was replaced without hassle with another battery at the Orange Store for free...

:)

Phone now works perfectly!!

Did you let the batery go completely flat? Lithium batteries will permanently "disconnect" if the internal cell voltage goes too low. That's why you should keep them topped up as often as possible and avoid fully discharging them.

I did a search on other threads and yep it can go too flat

people have rescued their battery by removing it from the phone and connecting a voltage direct to the battery but its at your own risk and your milage may vary
