Guest dazdastardly Posted December 19, 2005 Report Posted December 19, 2005 Hi Guys/Girls, Hate to be a pain but I Have a Problem for you to solve... I have an Orange c550 that seems to be stuck in 'Brick mode'... i.e Wont turn on and Wont do anything!... When i plug it in to the USB PC or Power adapter it just seems to sit there not knowing whats going on... The same as if i power it on (no response)... I'm popping down to the orange store as soon as its open but before i do i was just wondering if the geniuses of smartphones (i.e. YOU!!) have had this problem before and know whats going on? It's annoying me so much and makes you wonder how we lived without phones 5 years ago! Any ideas would be appreciated, and I'll update when i go to the Orange store purely for the Record if anyone else gets the same problem Cheers,
Guest dazdastardly Posted December 19, 2005 Report Posted December 19, 2005 Ok, just to update, the battery had malfunctioned and was replaced without hassle with another battery at the Orange Store for free... :) Phone now works perfectly!!

Lithium batteries will permanently "disconnect" if the internal cell voltage goes too low. That's why you should keep them topped up as often as possible and avoid fully discharging them.
