XDA Exec power issues

I have had an XDa for the past few days, and am a bit worried by the battery levels - that it was fully charged last night, and this morning (12 hours later) it was down to 83%. Is this what I should expect from a new battery? This would mean that it's flat within 2 1/2 days without anything being used?
