Best GPS Receivers?

I had one of the BT-77 receivers off ebay, but it was pathetic, only connecting to 1 satalite and saying you were somewhere stupid like in the middle of a field, or telling me to turn right on a motorway...

So needless to say, after getting lost and taking me around 2 hours to find my way home (normally a 40minute drive) after work..

I'm after a new receiver.

Looking at this Holux GPSlim GR-236.. Seen good reviews but to be honest i dont want to waste my money if theres a better quality receiver unit out there.. It's running with a C550...

Thoughts?
