4Ch submini to 2Ch mini stereo adapter for SMT5600

I took the time to research the difference between the different types of stereo adapters, figured out exactly what I needed for my SMT5600, and made a purchase online. Unfortunately I got burned with a CRAP quality adapter that set me back $12 and stopped working within WEEKS. Has anyone bought this type of adapter (4Ch submini to 2Ch mini stereo) that has proven its quality with longterm use? If so could you point me in the right direction? Thanks.
