i've just got my c600 which im having a few problems adjusting to after using the m2000 for the last year.

i've gotten used to the stylus and plethora of software titles available for ppc/windows mobile etc...

what are the must have apps for smartphone and do they work on the c600/windows mobile 5.0 combo

i know MS are trying to merge the two mobile/ppc platforms, but i still think you're still gonna be left with the two main platforms of WM5, one with touch screen, one without...

so I've got resco file explorer and betaplayer... any others?

p.s. after using my girlfriends nokia occasionally, i like the bluetooth functionality... the bluetooth integration into smartphone has been pretty poor, i still cant send things to the c600, and now i somewhat miss the simplicty of the image > send > via bluetooth option on my missus' 6680.

why is it not built in to the WM5 fileexplorer...

a pretty poor show to be honest. maybe im just used to the bluetooth stack on the m2000

Not sure with Resco but Binarys Smart Explorer enables you to send files over bluetooth.

Also another must have app is Task Manager from binarys, it's probably the most used app I have.

Now don't take this as the answer to all your prayers, but you sound like you are missing two things.

You CAN receive incoming BT files - but you need to do a couple of things - you need to enable "Receive incoming Beams" in the setup options, AND with the new WM5.0, you need to have your phone unlocked at the time people try to send to you - this part is a new inbuilt security feature.

You also of course need to have BT turned on and set to discoverable to have her even see your phone.

As for sending, you CAN send via BT.

Just go to any picture in the Pictures and Video application, and choose Send/Beam - even though it STILL, in this day and age after years of complaints, says it is sending via IR, it actually will scan for BT devices too.

Hope this helps.
