Guest modularcarpet Posted December 20, 2005 Report Posted December 20, 2005 Hi, I have been browsing files on My M500 using file explorer. I sorting things in order of size and there are 7 files in the Windows Directory starting "MsgQueueDat". Each file is 2.71MB in size, which would equate to nearly 19MB! I don't know if they are really this big or if the size is being falsely reported. Does anybody know what they are and if they can be deleted to free up space? I have had my M500 for a few weeks and I generally like it, but there are a couple of annoying things. Does anybody know a way of removing the silly rubber flap off the bottom of the device without permently breaking it off. It's really annoying for day to day syncing and listening to Oggs, but I don't want to break it off as it could affect the resale value (when I upgrade in the future). Why do phone manufacturers still insist on putting in stupid 2.5mm headphone sockets. I'd rather they make the device a couple of mm thicker and have a normal 3.5mm socket and on the top! Many thanks, Modularcarpet.
Guest Samsonite Posted December 20, 2005 Report Posted December 20, 2005 i found those big files recently too... i did a google on the file name and the first couple of hits explained all. Basically dont worry about them! You cant delete them, they're not that big and they arent doing any harm... cant help with the rubber thing, i got me a Qtek!!
