Guest jeremygist Posted March 28, 2003 Report Posted March 28, 2003 In order to free up some more memory I would like to delete a couple of the 'spare' home screens (camper.jpg etc) and surplus sound files (robotica.mid etc) however using IA file manager and/or Active Sync I get the message 'unable to delete etc' trying the change the properties results in a similar error message 'unable to change attributes' any idea how to rid myself of this type of file and thereby boost the available memory. The new IA suite of space maker, file manager and task manager are great, in my opinion anyway!
Guest midnight Posted March 28, 2003 Report Posted March 28, 2003 you cant delete anything from the windows folder, and even if you could, chances are the files would be back again after a reboot
Guest yatpeak Posted March 28, 2003 Report Posted March 28, 2003 But they don't really take up that much space. I wouldn't worry about it. Wyatt
