c550 using mp3 for sms rongtone?

ive put an Mp3 in the storage\application data\sounds

i can use it for a ringtone but i cant select it for sms?

any suggestions please?

solved it, strange.... as an mp3 it could be seen as a ringtone., but to be able to select it for sms i had to convert it to a wav...
