Guest d1nsh Posted December 20, 2005 Report Posted December 20, 2005 I ordered my C600 yesterday and am looking forward to getting my hands on it, although im a little nervous ill be disapointed. What do the people who have already got it think of it? Are they glad they chose it?
Guest MarkH Posted December 20, 2005 Report Posted December 20, 2005 most the time when i order a new phone, i'm really pleased to be upgrading - but this time, i'm a little sad to retire my C500 as it's done so well. Yes, the C600 is definately better, there are lots of little improvements in the OS which I appreciate, and the screen and camera are big plus points. But overall, it seems like a minor upgrade to my phone rather than a major one. I'm looking forward to the C700 next (!?!?) which will hopefully have 3G, WiFi, and the last of the little smartphone bugs ironed out for good.. :-)
Guest m9000 Posted December 20, 2005 Report Posted December 20, 2005 Totally agree with that. Fantastic phone, but there's nothing major which stands out. If they included the wifi, then it would make it much better. The screen is very impressive.
Guest m9000 Posted December 20, 2005 Report Posted December 20, 2005 Might just be me, but it seems alot slower than the C500?
Guest Tech Posted December 20, 2005 Report Posted December 20, 2005 imate sp5m is better imho has a bit more features and they are actually IN STOCK and availible. sorry for my anger but im sure most of you know the frustration and disappointment i have had with orange in the past 4 months relating to the C600
Guest MarkH Posted December 20, 2005 Report Posted December 20, 2005 Might just be me, but it seems alot slower than the C500? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I agree, sometimes it seems to hang for a second when opening messaging etc. I guess windows mobile 5 requires a little more power to run, perhaps the screen resolution also makes it a little slower, and as the CPU has not advanced, then the C600 does indeed not appear to have the same performance as it's predecessor
