I can't seem to get my SCALA-500 headset to work in "Headset Profile" on my smt5600. I can get it to work as a "hands-free" device, but I prefer the headset profile to the hands-free one. Can anyone help me by posting the correct procedure, etc?

That's my question, here's my story:

In the past I had owned a Bluetrek G2 which was GREAT. It was paired with my old SMT5600 in headset profile and it worked fine. Then I lost it :) and bought another one. The new one was a PIECE OF CRAP. Innovi had redisigned the earbud portion and the headset profile no longer worked. So eventually I gave that one away because it was so frustrating and went on a hunt to find a new headset. Read lots of reviews of the SCALA and it sounded like the one I needed.

Now I have a NEW smt5600 (the old one broke) and a brand spanking new SCALA-500, and unless I use handsfree profile, I can't use the darn thing.

The problem with hands-free profile is that when you set the keylock on the phone, the button on the headset can still make calls. I keep the headset in my pocket and what happens is that it dials people over and over again and they get angry. When I had my 1st bluetrek g2 working in headset profile, that button locked when the keys were locked.

THANKS
