Guest nassersyed2 Posted December 22, 2005 Report Posted December 22, 2005 (edited) hey, quick question: can the SP5 support multipress? what i mean is, on my sp3i, when your playing a game or emulator, say smartnes, and your playing and your trying to run and walk at the same time. the device doesn't not recognize anything if your moving the joystick and pressing a button at the same time. the only keys it works with is the 2 soft keys. my mitac 8380 and 8390 were good because of this feature. and i recently purchased a SP5 (coming tomorrow :) ) and i wanted to make sure. because on my sp3i, not being able to play games like emulators on it was a real drag because of the multipress issue. thanks all in advance. It seems to work well, I can press any of the keys whilst using the joystick and even press the joystick in whilst moving the joystick around. The bad points are that the joystick appears to be 5 way only and the pressing joystick in action seems to be similar to the C500, e.g. you press and hold it but it only fires once.
