Cingular 2125 - Edit Registry

I'm trying to get rid of the annoying beep that this phone makes with every call:

After I've edited the registry I've found that the phone resets the original values back into the registry. I've tried the unlocking procedure I found on these forums, but so far.... bupkis, nada, nothing.

Any help appreciated! :)

I just tried it on mine and the change was still there after rebooting. I had also application unlocked the phone.

Incidentally HTC america seem to be suporting the 2125... new update:
