WM5: Outlook Contacts' Notes Section (General Tab)

An odd thing when using Contacts on my SP5 I-Mate w/Windows Mobile 5:

Under Notes in any Outlook contact (Still in the General Tab section, under the email address, the Web page address, and IM address, that BIG black area for just whatever personal notes that you care to note down on that contact), for example, if under Amazon.com, I have their number, and under notes, I make extensive notes about what I’ve purchased from them for easy reference, which might be quite long. If you try to “view” that Notes section on your SP5, you’ll notice that one you get to the Notes section, the ENTIRE section is highlighted. You CANNOT navigate and scroll through the entire Notes section, only the top couple of lines!

The workaround, which is not at all practical, is to hit edit and scroll though it letter by letter, which isn’t practical if you have a lot of notes. Plus, when you hit edit, ALL your notes in that entire section shows up on a tiny edit line, and you only get to see like 15 letters at a time!

I find the personal notes section to be very important. If i met some one at a function, say John Smith, and I need something to help me "search" for him should i forget his name in the future, i enter a pnemonic device, say "met at the charity function". then, in the future, if i typed in charity and searched for it, ANY contact with the word charity in it would pop up.

I can’t be the only person who uses this Notes section extensively, right? How can that be? I must not have figured out how to properly “view” the Notes section on the SP5 smartphone?
