My Qtek2020 digitizer got damaged by water. I had it changed but now the screen won't align and makes infinite loops. The repair man said its becuase the bios has been deleted. I think otherwise. Is new digitizer not properly installed or is it a software issue?

Also, is there a place to download a bios for the phone in question without having to register?

Can't help you on where to download the qtek 2020 rom but I'd suggest trying to put the device into bootloader mode and reinstalling a rom.

To get bootloader press the Power button + Reset button + Direction keypad simultaneously. You should see a blank, black (as in no backlight) screen with the words "Serial" and "USB 1.0x" displayed.

Then, insert the device into the cradle that is already connected to the computer.

Now try running the rom again. Hopefully reinstalling the rom may resolve the problem...
