Guest oturn Posted December 22, 2005 Report Posted December 22, 2005 One thing I've noticed on my SP5 is that the current cellular provider is always listed as Cingular, even when I know I'm on an AT&T tower. My SMT5600 would display 310410 instead of Cingular, but this registry change fixed that problem: Change 310410 to Cingular: goto HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/RIL/OperatorNames Click Values Click Menu|New Value|String Value Name = 310410 Value Data = Cingular Now it seems this has been reversed with the SP5, with 310410 / Cingular displaying properly, but 310380 / AT&T displaying as Cingular. I've tried the registry change using 310380 / AT&T, but it still displays as Cingular. It's got to be in there somewhere! I've searched the registry, but I don't see anything obvious. Does anyone have any suggestions? BTW, the SP5 is fantastic!!
