Guest Advent Posted January 19, 2006 Report Posted January 19, 2006 up! IR remote control programs work on the SP5? Do any IR remote control programs run OK on the SP5 ? <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Guest Pondrew Posted January 19, 2006 Report Posted January 19, 2006 I think the answer is no... seems the only Smartphone currently working as an IR remote control is the Samsung i300
Guest MitchellO Posted January 20, 2006 Report Posted January 20, 2006 Would be good though. With the IR on top it would be great as a UIR. Wonder if it has a powerful Ir (Consumer Ir) though ;)
Guest Advent Posted January 20, 2006 Report Posted January 20, 2006 We will expect at him. ;) I think the answer is no... seems the only Smartphone currently working as an IR remote control is the Samsung i300 <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Guest coldwave87 Posted August 21, 2006 Report Posted August 21, 2006 I noticed that all windows mobile devices, even with PPC like Qtek 9100 with Ti OMAP 850 200 Mhz processor will not be able to use remote control softwares. Samsung i300 uses Intel Bulveder 400 Mhz which is the same as in i-mate jam and many others, therefore remote control can be used on it.
Guest Ingvarr Posted August 21, 2006 Report Posted August 21, 2006 For tornado & wizard its not consumer IR. It highly depends on device you try to control, but generally its 1 meter range tops (mostly lower).
