Wrong Phone Number Displayed

Hey all,

Have just ported my main mobile number across to T-Mobile to use with my Vario. Have been playing around with the device and just hard reset it to get it set up properly.

However the Phone Settings screen is still displaying the original SIM phone number and not the number that I've now ported across, any ideas how to get it to pick up the correct number or forcibly change it?

I've finally found out where the phone number displayed in the Phone options screen comes from. Better late than never I suppose icon_smile.gif

The number is stored in the sim card itself. To change it go to Start > Programs > Contacts > SIM Manager then select Tools > List of Own Numbers. If you click on LINE 1 you can change the name and phone number. One soft reset later and the phone options displays the correct number.

Tried searching but was using phone AND number AND wrong, wrong wasn't in that thread anywhere :)
