panoramic photo stitcher

hi ppl

my friend has a sony erricson (with 2mp camera) and it has a really cool panoramic photo mode

the fone can stitch many images as they are taken to make a panoramic shot

i have seen software for the pc called stitch (i think)

anyone know of a smartphone app that will do this?
