spv c500 on t-mobile

Can anyone help.

i've just upgraded to the c600 and have given my wife my old c500, which i have unlocked and put in her t-mobile sim card.

i have set up all the settings but everytime the phone is turned off then on again the sms message number has been cleared.

any ideas anybody?

Have you checked the number in Settings\Phone\Call Options

the SMS nuber should be set there.
