Wanted: Beta Testers

Hi,

I represent the mobile software company Makayama Interactive. We're launching a new product for Windows Smartphone: video ringtones. There's a Symbian version already on the market (see: Watchtones website)

When you install this software, you will see a video with sound when someone calls you. The phone number or contact information will also be displayed.

We're looking for user feedback on our final beta version. We have tested this app on 5 different phones, but would like to know how it behaves on some other untested models.

Please install the attached cab file and tell us if it works o.k. If you see any bugs, or other problems you may have.

You can find this info in the Start Menu \ Settings \ About

This version is unsigned and may not install on certain phones (such as Orange branded models). The beta will expire in one week.

Hello tested your program on my SPV C550,

i did some screenshots

As u can see the selection box has gone wierd and it was hard to see which box i was looking at.

Firstly media player took too long to open the video, as i want to be able to pick up my phone not wait for the video to load

This is a very clever idea but the main idea is that you should come up with a different player which doesnt block out answer and hang up signs and plays its own format so not to accociate itself with other video types.

I also had the same issues... It opens WMP actually almost instantly, however The phone is then in WMP so you cant answer the phone.

I didnt notice a CID coming up either ;)
