How to flash down the SPL ?

Can anyone tell me how to downgrade my SPL from 2.5 to 1.0 ? Iam totally lost when i look around the net.. :?:

A friend told me that i needed to do this because something with a bad rom.. :S I didn't understand it hehe..

what's wrong with the ROM?

if you need to reflash a ROM - download the ROM From the network coverage website (such as orange) and re-flash it, or upgrade the ROM from the same website.

i know.. but that dosn't fix it.. I don't actually know whats the problem, but my friend is pretty clever at this point and told me to do this.. But i just don't how.. And he is impossible to get in touch with..
