I am looking for a better case for my Imate SP5. The one that ships with the phone is too loose and feels cheaply made. I did a search on Google and found a few cases at Krusell.

1. Is anyone using a Krusell case for their SP5, if so which one and how do you like it?

2. Are there are any other cases that anyone is using for their SP5 that they like and wouldn't mind sharing info about?

TIA

Any company offer one of these yet? My SP5 has two small marks on the top corner, and I'm not happy. The silicon ones are the way to go but none are available that I can see. Argh!!

Looks like these guys are selling a silicone skin for the SP5m. Wonder if it would fit the SP5?

This may seem like a weird idea but if you head over to the cell phone accessory section at target, they have tons of universal cases that fit the tornados and have actually been amazing cases that i continue to buy. I cant tell you a specific brand but it may pay to check it out.

You'll be >very< happy with the Krusell case (I bought an extra should the first wear out in case they stopped production). Fit 'n finish is excellent, fits like a glove and you'll have the impression whoever designed the case spent a lot of time using the phone first. Consider yourself lucky Krusell supports the phone and snag a couple of their reasonably priced leather cases!!! I got mine at:

I beg to differ with Chaznet. There 2 main issues with Krussel cases

1. Although a very tight fit, the velco snap on/off piece makes it look much thicker

2.I can live with the extra thickness..may be..but the clear plastic on the case constantly get stuck to LCD screen which not only make the phone look ugly but hard to see in the daylight due to bubbles.

On the plus side, these cases are made from the top grain leather, material is top notch quality ans so is their customer service. I just wish they could do something about the clear plastic part and make it less sticky.

If you don't mind the added bulk of leather, I would highly recommend Piel Frama cases.

If you are not too rough with LCD screen, you may want to check out eGrips which are grippy sticky stuff that are custom cut for your phone and they do protect normal wear tear, put a good screen protector and you got yourself 1/2 way decent protection without the added bulk. I have been using eGrips and I like them as they are very easy to take off without any residuals. For the times when I go for hiking, I either use Tuff-as-Nut leather case or just universal slide in/out type Body Glove case.

Hope some of this info helps you make a decision. I would love to get a decent skin case but can't seem to find one. iMate SP5M as well as for Cingular 2215 won't fit imate SP5/Qtek SP5.

For my SP5m, this one is great: http://www.mobilecityonline.com/wireless/s...productid=21185

There's no plastic over the screen, so with a protective decal over the screen, it's the perfect case. It has the snap-over leather to protect the camera lens, but not the velcro as with the other case you mentioned.

Nice find Chaznet but I wonder if it fits only SP5M or will it also fit imate SP5? I like this style much better than "classic" Krussell :)

Do any of these cases protect the joystick enough to stop the backlight from coming on?
