Smartphone To Webcam

I was wondering if it is possible to use my C550's camera as a web cam via usb connection

If u get this to work please post, as i couldnt work the remote active display

Ok uninstall it, then plug in ur fone, then install while its plugged in and it should see it

do u have to install both pieces of software?

yeh got it working on my downstairs pc. man that is sooooo slow, it started off well with remote display but when i used softcam, it just lagged completely. Oh well it was only an expriment for a wirless webcam, how are u finding it?

usin the spv c550, its a clever idea but microsoft should invent a more direct route, what phone are u using.

Im using the C550 too, its a great fone isnt it, oh and u know when u try to sync videos it says cannot convert, well if the files are wmv make a folder in ur card called Video then just drag them to a folder, start WMP on the fone go to Update Library, it will search and find them. Just a little tip that i discovered when fiddeling with the videos

thanks for the tip but i use tcpmp so i just drag my wmvs across to my videos.
