Use a ppc phone without sim

Hi, i'm willing to buy a ppc phone. It will work without a sim? I tried in the past a windows smartphone and it requires a sim.

Of course, it's different.

On the Smartphone, you can actually use the device without a SIM on it.

1. Turn radio off (airplane mode on)

2. Power off phone

3. Remove battery

4. Remove SIM

5. Mount battery then turn on phone.

I have no idea if it will also work on the PPC-PE.

PPC Phone Editions will work without the SIM in.

When I was buying my iPaq 6151 the demo unit they let me play with didn't have a sim, and all of the PDA functions worked, just none of the phone ones.

When I popped in the sim from my old sony erriccson everything worked like a charm.

I just asked because i had a smartphone and without a sim it doesn't work.

... that trick! gpcarreon i haven't thought at doing this.
