Guest tristanm81 Posted December 27, 2005 Report Posted December 27, 2005 sorry for not reading through all the dust posts... My Orange C500 is developing quite a problem with dust under the screen. Its not disastrous yet, but is annoying. I think I bought it around april/may so I'm guessing its still under warranty. Do Orange acknowledge this problem and provide replacements? tbh I'm fed up with the phone anyway, I'm going to trade it in for a SE or Samsung when the 12 month contract is up. cheers, TNM
Guest w411y Posted December 27, 2005 Report Posted December 27, 2005 Orange wont replace it. Theres 3 ways to go about it. You can leave it as it is or send it back to HTC who will remove the dust and then seal it properly so no more dust gets in, or you can remove the fascia yourself (there is a guide on this site) and wipe away the dust.

However, cleaning it yourself is very easy and doesn't void the warantee so give it a go ;)
