Guest lazydaisy Posted December 27, 2005 Report Posted December 27, 2005 Hi, Hope someone can advise me. I've ordered my SPV C600 to replace my C500. I understand it needs Activesync 4.1 to sync to the pc. However, I have a PDA that needs Activesync 3.8 to sync and if I load the new version it will overwrite it. Is there a way of having either both versions running or will the Windows 5 work on the old Activesync version? Just wondering if I've made a big mistake! The PDA cannot be upgraded to windows 5 and I do not want to replace it for a good while yet! Thanks for any advice. Lazydaisy.
Guest diveboy2 Posted December 27, 2005 Report Posted December 27, 2005 I think you will be OK running version 4 as its backward compatible. It works with my C600, C550 and Dell x50v. The latter to on windows 2003.

Not being able to sync pc, ipaq and phone makes having a windows based phone a waste of time. There is no clear info and it was something I hadn't considered. I was going to get the C550 but when I saw I could get the C600 free on a new contract I decided I might as well. Happy New Year - I shall wait now for it to arrive. Lazydaisy.
