Guest mike_secco Posted December 28, 2005 Report Posted December 28, 2005 I did a hard reset on my o2 xphone 2 following the instuctions given on this site, my battery had 4 bars when i did it however now my battery life is very poor, it doesnt even make it a day whereas before it could go about 4 days easily. Is there anyway to fix this, it must be something to do with the hard reset but i dont know what to do to get it back to what it used to be. Thanks, Mike.
Guest w411y Posted December 28, 2005 Report Posted December 28, 2005 I read somewhere (and I believe it was the guide on this site!) that whatever state your battery is at upon doing th hard reset, then that will be its maximum power after the hard reset. I do not know a solution but hopefully someone will but Id suggest buying a new battery
Guest mike_secco Posted December 28, 2005 Report Posted December 28, 2005 you know what, i uninstalled spalarm off my phone yesterday since it was a new program i put on after the hard reset, the battery seems to be back to normal. I dont understand how that program could drain so much power!!!! has it happened to anyone else?
Guest Tech Posted December 29, 2005 Report Posted December 29, 2005 just to add: when you do a hard reset - make sure the battery is FULL - ;)
