Guest troels73 Posted December 28, 2005 Report Posted December 28, 2005 Which task should I end in taskmanager to shut down activesync? Is there another easier way to shot it down?
Guest Killian Posted December 28, 2005 Report Posted December 28, 2005 I’m not sure what your actually asking here but just disconnecting the phone should shut down activesync, you don’t need to reboot the phone. If you have activesync open on your phone aswell as your desktop then just shut down the activesync task in task manager. If your unsure what that is then just shut them all down, it won’t let you shutdown any tasks that the system is relying on so. Hope that helps anyway.

Is there another easier way to shot it down? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think the task is called wcescomm.exe. You can also use a small freeware application called 'ActiveSync Toggle' to temporarily switch ActiveSync on/off.
